Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives and emerging industry paradigms
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation for exponential change
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force with external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial innovations
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, blockchain)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
