Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-focused strategic roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and compelling narratives
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging technologies using predictive modeling frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced innovation methodologies and future literacy
- Author quarterly foresight publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as a thought leader
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's required, PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario development frameworks
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in Tableau/Power BI
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major future-focused initiatives launched since 2020
