Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory shifts
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and strategic foresight
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Translate technological signals into product development priorities and business opportunities
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of emerging tech
- Mentor internal teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI governance
- Strong network with academic institutions and research labs
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
