Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026-focused innovation roadmap identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing strategies into corporate planning
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and publish trend briefs for executive decision-making
- Manage a $5M+ innovation fund, evaluating and prioritizing high-impact ventures
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and tech summits
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech unicorns
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services post-2020
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, neurotech, climate tech, or space commercialization
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on long-term technology impact (e.g., in Harvard Business Review)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin for global stakeholder engagement
