Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business objectives
- Author white papers and thought leadership on the societal implications of future technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in augmented reality and neural interfaces
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy discussions on digital transformation
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Strong public speaking experience at major tech conferences
