Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable impact on business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neurotech)
- Champion sustainable tech integration and ethical AI frameworks
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present futuristic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee incubation of moonshot projects with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (Harvard Business Review/MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams and budgets >$5M
- Certification in Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
