Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues on weekends.
- Monitor network performance and server health to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Deploy software updates, patches, and security configurations to corporate workstations.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and peripherals for incoming staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the on-call team lead to escalate critical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, TCP/IP, and VPN configuration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift with minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
