Responsibilities
- Handle inbound/outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with empathy and professionalism
- Resolve billing, technical, and service-related issues efficiently using CRM systems
- Document interactions accurately in our customer database and maintain detailed records
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction scores
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery processes
- Stay updated on product knowledge and service protocols through continuous training
- Identify opportunities to upsell products/services while maintaining customer trust
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Proficient in typing (40+ WPM) and navigating multiple software systems simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills with clear, articulate verbal and written abilities
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekends as needed
- Illinois residency required for compliance with state employment regulations
