Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future of Artificial Intelligence?
Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead our core infrastructure development for the 2026 vision. We are building the next generation of autonomous agents and generative models, and we need a technical leader to design scalable, efficient, and ethically sound AI systems.
In this role, you won't just maintain legacy code; you will define the architecture that will power the next decade of human-computer interaction. Join a team of elite engineers pushing the boundaries of Deep Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) in the heart of Texas.
Why Join Us?
- Work on mission-critical AI infrastructure.
- Competitive compensation and equity package.
- Flexible hybrid work model.
- Access to cutting-edge hardware and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Lead the technical strategy for the 2026 product roadmap, focusing on LLM optimization and edge deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into consumer-facing products.
- Establish best practices for model governance, bias mitigation, and security.
- Oversee the technical performance of inference engines and reduce latency for real-time applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive code quality within the AI engineering squad.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Applied AI Research.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SQL.
- Proven track record of deploying production-ready models at scale.
- Deep understanding of MLOps, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Strong experience with Large Language Models (GPT, BERT, Llama) and fine-tuning techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
