Responsibilities
- Lead high-level research initiatives focused on achieving our 2026 strategic goals for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and autonomous systems.
- Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art deep learning models and algorithms using Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to translate theoretical research into scalable software products.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the AI landscape to ensure Nebula Labs remains ahead of the curve.
- Evaluate and integrate new datasets to improve model accuracy and robustness.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in research, data science, or machine learning engineering.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and distributed computing systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with C++ or CUDA for performance optimization.
- Proven track record of publishing research in reputable venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.) or leading significant open-source projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
