Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and scale emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and government bodies for 2026 technology adoption
- Design and deliver executive briefings on future-proofing strategies for board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-driven KPIs
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global forums
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical discipline
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with $50M+ impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, Delphi 2.0, weak signal detection)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, clean energy, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for C-suite audiences
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
