Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop and publish quarterly innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for prototyping future solutions
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Author thought leadership content and keynote industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPS preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend mapping tools
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
