Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on emerging opportunities and systemic risks
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Produce thought leadership content including white papers, trend reports, and predictive models
- Champion future-focused culture across the organization through training and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in innovation strategy, technology consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, space exploration, and decentralized systems
- Proven track record of translating future insights into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities with strong data interpretation skills
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
