Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscapes (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and publish annual innovation roadmaps with actionable strategic recommendations
- Facilitate executive workshops and scenario planning sessions for C-suite leadership
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into product development pipelines
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
- Manage a $5M innovation fund portfolio for high-potential emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and build a world-class futurist capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level innovation strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, books, etc.)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies expertise
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, scenario planning)
