Responsibilities
- Design Enterprise Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to support high-traffic Olympic applications.
- Network Optimization: Oversee network architecture to ensure low-latency connectivity and high availability for live streaming and data analytics.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Develop and maintain rigorous disaster recovery plans and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive athlete and operational data.
- Cloud Migration Strategy: Execute the modernization of legacy systems, ensuring a seamless transition to cloud-native environments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Product Management.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance in real-time, proactively identifying bottlenecks and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, or a related technical field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and Terraform.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or CCNP certification is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
- Communication: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
