Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of network infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Execute scheduled maintenance, patches, and upgrades during off-peak weekend hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages and technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to document incident reports and root cause analyses.
- Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect company data assets.
- Manage VPN configurations and access controls for remote office connectivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations or systems administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during the weekend shift.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
