Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical SEO strategy, focusing on site architecture, crawlability, and indexability to maximize organic search performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to implement schema markup, AMP, and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
- Conduct deep-dive audits to identify and resolve technical debt that impacts search rankings.
- Manage a technical SEO budget and oversee external agency relationships for specialized technical tasks.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, including organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, and conversion rates from organic search.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and emerging trends in the 2026 SEO landscape.
- Train and mentor junior SEO analysts and content teams on technical best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Deep understanding of Google's Search Console, Analytics, and the latest SEO algorithm updates.
- Strong proficiency with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, or PHP) and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or custom).
- Proven track record of improving organic traffic and rankings for complex, enterprise-level websites.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into actionable business insights.
- Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO) and web performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
