Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal clients.
- Monitor system performance logs and uptime reports to proactively prevent outages.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to escalate critical bugs and coordinate patch deployments.
- Conduct weekend maintenance windows and ensure data backups are completed successfully.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in technical support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday (Rotational shift required).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours.
