Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop quantitative scenario models using AI-driven forecasting platforms
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in industry journals
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend analysis
- Represent the company at global innovation conferences and policy forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools for trend analysis (e.g., GPT-4, TensorFlow)
- Published thought leadership in future technologies or societal evolution
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and economic megatrends post-2025
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
