Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year impact assessment
- Develop and maintain a 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging technology adoption and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products based on emerging technology trends
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Foresight Practitioners Network) or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience at major conferences
