Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Monitoring: Perform routine system backups, updates, and security patches to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve escalated IT help desk tickets efficiently and accurately.
- Hardware & Software Support: Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across the local area network (LAN) and VPN.
- Access Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security clearance for weekend staff.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party vendors for emergency repairs or hardware procurement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, MS Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
