Responsibilities
- Design quantum hardware architectures capable of 10,000+ qubit operations
- Develop cryogenic cooling systems for quantum processors operating at 10mK
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Implement quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Document architectural blueprints in ISO 9001-compliant formats
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Expertise in superconducting qubit technologies
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified projects
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and vacuum systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
