Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware and software issues via phone and remote access.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and resolve server outages to ensure business continuity.
- Perform routine system maintenance and security updates on weekends to minimize downtime during business hours.
- Manage and update inventory for IT assets and peripherals.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance logs in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday team to ensure seamless handovers of critical issues.
- Assist with user onboarding and training for new software deployments.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in help desk support or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Available to work Saturday and Sunday, with occasional holiday coverage.
