Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch updates, and security checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new devices and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of technical issues, resolutions, and user interactions.
- Collaborate with the on-site IT team during transition periods to ensure seamless coverage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a helpdesk, technical support, or IT assistance role is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
