Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and disruptive innovations through 2026
- Create strategic foresight roadmaps and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused opportunities and risks
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and white papers on technology trends and market evolution
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future insights into R&D pipelines
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Represent the company at industry conferences and futurist forums to shape discourse on emerging trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial products or strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable narratives
- Experience leading cross-geographic teams and influencing executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or industry journals
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly valued
