Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop multi-generational innovation roadmaps aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing into product roadmaps
- Author annual FutureState whitepapers read by Fortune 100 leadership teams
- Manage cross-disciplinary pods of AI ethicists, biotech specialists, and climate economists
- Present strategic briefings to federal agencies on emerging societal impacts
- Curate the annual Horizon Summit convening 500+ global futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (cite 3+ successful predictions)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Published thought leadership in MIT Technology Review or equivalent tier
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Security clearance (Top Secret preferred) for government partnership work
