Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during off-peak hours.
- Execute critical system maintenance, patch management, and security audits on weekends to ensure system integrity.
- Monitor server health, storage arrays, and network traffic logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Document all technical resolutions, incidents, and resolutions in the Service Management system.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Day Shift team to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of service.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and compliance checks within the server room environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience working in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends without direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and on-call rotation requirements.
